Be a Block Captain

NNA wants all of Northcenter to stay connected, but that takes a lot of people to make it happen.  To make sure that all of our neighbors know what’s going on, we have Block Captains to help us spread news.

 

Being a block captain is a great way to get to know your neighbors and help the community stay connected. It’s a fun and easy way to be an active member of NNA.

 

Block Captain responsibilities:

• Encourage your neighbors to join NNA and to renew their membership every year
• Distribute the paper copy of the annual NNA newsletter to those on your block
• Share news from your block with NNA so that it can be shared with other neighbors
• Connect with other block captains to share ideas, stories, and resources

 

Ready to be a block captain?  Be sure to check the "block captain" box on the membership form when you join NNA.  Already a member?  Just send us an e-mail at blockcaptains@northcenterneighborhood.org to join the block captain team and/or learn who the block captain is on your block.
