Our annual self-guided walking tour of Northcenter gardens and outdoor spaces will feature over 40 homes in addition to live music from local bands and musicians and more surprises!

The self-guided tour will begin at Alexander Graham Bell School at 3730 N. Oakley St. (at Grace St.), where maps can be picked up. A suggested donation of $5 will benefit the Common Pantry. Seniors are free!

If you would like to be in our garden walk, please REGISTER HERE!

We'll then contact you with more information about the day closer to the registration deadline.

If you participated in the past and would like to join us again, please fill out your basic contact information and feel free to indicate that you would like to use your description from last year.

All gardens must be registered by Friday, June 1st!

Don't have a garden, but still want to participate? There are plenty of other ways to get involved:

We need a street team to start posting posters, a registration team for the day of the garden walk, and a social media team to help promote, comment, like, share. If you can help with any of these, we’d so greatly appreciate it!

Sponsor a Band or Musician
We love getting people together around nature, music and art. We have some bands that give us a great discount or play pro bono, but we also feel strongly about paying musicians when we can. Can you help us sponsor a band or musician for an hour? Whether you are a business or an individual, we’d be happy to send you more details. From $100 to $1500, we’ve got music in all ranges and sizes and would love it if you helped us sponsor a wonderful, community day.

Lemonade Stands
A great way to serve our garden walkers but also get the kids involved! We have a tradition of having lemonade stands and either donating the proceeds to the Common Pantry or another cause close to your heart. Let us know and we'll make announcements about your stand on the day!

Please email if you would like to participate in any of the above options.

The boundaries of the Northcenter Neighborhood Association are Addison on the south, the Chicago River on the west, Montrose on the north, and Ravenswood on the east. All participating outdoor spaces must fall within our organization's boundaries.

We hope you’ll join us in this wonderful, neighborhood tradition. By sharing your garden, coming out for the walk, volunteering, or sharing your talents, you help create a day where neighbors and friends interact and connect through beauty, nature and music.

We hope to see you there - rain or shine!
