11th Annual Northcenter Garden Walk

Sunday, June 25th

Thank you to everyone who came out for our 11th Annual Garden Walk. It was one of our most enjoyable events yet! It was a beautiful day of nature, music, and neighborliness.

40+ homes and Parkways Corners made up our route of inspiring and surprising outdoor spaces. Along the route local musicians The Going ConcernAnnalise and the BackslidersRay Quinn and Brian WilkeKevin FlorianJugo de Mango, and The Barry Rubato Collective brought energy and atmosphere to the day. Lisa Hish opened and closed the Garden Walk with a gong ceremony dedicated in memory of Elizabeth Wenscott. The ceremony was a Taoist ritual of preparing the earth for activity and for the Summer Solstice.

Drink and food specials were provided throughout the day from Reclaimed, Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro, The Northman, and The Empanada Bike. And a container garden demonstration by Susan Fontana gave neighbors a chance to learn something new. Lemonade stands, chalk sidewalk art and other contributions could be found throughout the day.

Through the support and generosity of our neighbors, sponsors, and walkers we were able to raise money for The Common Pantry

Thank you to everyone who shared a part in this day. By opening up your garden, coming out for the walk, volunteering, or sharing your talents, you helped to create a day where neighbors and friends interacted and connected through beauty, nature and music!

The day would not have been possible without the support and generosity of this year's sponsors! Thank you to:
